Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and singer. Most people know her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. She considers herself to be the best musician of all. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something that she started dabbling at when she was nine years old. As she grew to the age of 12, her music took more serious form and she started training professionally. At 13, she began creating songs. The first time she recorded an album in the age of 14. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia was born in America but with Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking only English and was never in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic heritage. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. She also creates songs that incorporate the Spanish language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was picked to perform for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of the X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded the four "yes" vote by the judge on the live stage in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was solo however, during "Hollywood Week" she was placed together with three female singers to form a trio during the remaining auditions.
