Pickler born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced an unhappy childhood. When she was two, her mother left the abusive relationship. Her return to her life in 1995 and took custody of her. However it did not go well. Pickler, then 12, was turned over to her parents after the judge. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler was too busy to be a mother in the absence of both her parents. She revealed that she was no longer able to study and started learning how to make a living as a homemaker from a very young age. Pickler was a cheerleader in the middle and high school she attended. North Stanly High School, where she was a graduate in 2004, was her alma mater. Pickler was also a tryer as a model. She once held the title of Miss Stanly County.
