Sharni Vinson, an Australian-American actress, dancer, born on the 22nd of July, 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was cast in two episodes in Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her performance in that limited character was so impressive that the casting agent for the show requested her to play the main characters in the show. Although she did try out to play the part, she was not selected. She was instead cast in the series as Cassie Turner. The character is disturbed girl with foster parents.
